About Us

DEPUTY JEREMY TRICHE FALLEN HERO FOUNDATION, INC

The Deputy Jeremy Fallen Hero Foundation was formed after Deputy Jeremy Triche was killed in the Line of Duty.  He was killed on August 16, 2012.  During this time, his family received support from the community and other police departments.  The outpouring of love and support was/is what made us start the foundation.  Jeremy was also a peron who like to give to his community.  He was always willing to help others in their time of need.  About a year later, family and friends stateted the Deputy Jeremy Triche Fallen Hero Foundation.

The foundation's mission is to help support police officers, firefighters and first responders.  We also support sheriff's deparments with K9 officers.  Jeremy was a K9 officer with the St. John Parish Sheriff's office.  The foundation's support to others in the form of monetary donations  From medical expenses, disatrs in an officer's life or in the Line of Duty injuries or deaths.  We also support the widow/widower's with needs as they arise.  supporting the K9's in donations for bullet proof vest or just a donation to help with K9"s training or just getting the K9 to the department.  The donations are sent throughout the State of Louisiana, not St. John Parish.

Our major fundraiser, The Deputy Jeremy Triche Spots and Dots Fishing Tournament.  Jeremy was an avid fisherman, so this was fitting to do this in his memory and to continue what he loved to do.
